Hair Straightening

Thermal Reconditioning or "Japanese Hair Straightening" is a revolutionary Japanese straightening treatment that uses heat to restructure the bonds in your hair so the hair lies straight, giving you glossy, smooth, shiny straight hair that requires hardly any blow drying!

Thermal Reconditioning originated in Japan and has been practiced in Australia for just over three years. This treatment has been featured in just about every fashion magazine in Australia including: In Style, Vogue, Marie Claire, Woman's Day, Cosmopolitan, Oprah, and Elle.

The process produces stunning results that can last from six to ten months. Even better, whatever hair is treated will stay straight permanently and only the re-growth needs touching up! Steven Hanna is one of a few licensed instructors for this technology which was created by a Japanese company in 1996.

Thermal Reconditioning is a process that permanently alters the internal structure of the hair shaft rendering it totally straight. It will also remove a great deal of the fullness and the body from the hair giving it a sleeker look.

After Thermal Reconditioning, hair is unaffected by the ills caused by the elements including humidity, rain and steam-leaving hair sleek and free from frizz. And, over time, repeated Thermal reconditioning actually leaves the hair in better condition than before.
